About The Bipolar Feminist

I am a South African writer and researcher obsessed with feminism and music. When I’m not producing The Bipolar Feminist Podcast, I write and make art. I am a mother of three kittens, the mother of my friend group, and I will try to feed you and keep you warm. I have worked for publications such as the Sunday Times and Mail & Guardian and currently write for various publications, NGOs, and communications firms. I have also lectured in Journalism and English Literature and I hope to attain a PhD in Gender and Media Studies one day. As an activist, I focus on women’s rights and BIPOC empowerment. In whatever little spare time I have left in the day, I do makeup, play the piano, paint with oil on canvas, and do the occasional YouTube karaoke thing. As if that wasn’t enough, I’m currently writing a novel about post-apartheid Indian identity.
